Artists Alison C. Dibble, Ph.D. and Candace McKellar will lead a workshop on botanical sketching. Suspend your self-imposed limitations while you have fun being creative. Sharpen your observation skills, and appreciate plants even more. Materials provided. Limit: 12 people, age 16 and over.

Our Purpose, for the sake of this workshop, is not necessarily to represent a plant for identification purposes. Instead we provide a method by which to sharpen your observation skills, allow yourself more time with a fascinating plant, and perhaps discover something about yourself. By calling this “sketching” we relieve ourselves of the expectations that we must produce a masterpiece. We can just have fun creating.

Cost: $18 ($13 for KLT members) - includes materials
